So, sitting in my english class yesterday, reading through articles about presidential candidates, I realized that people need to loosen the hell up! I couldn’t believe how ignorant some of the people in this country are. Most of the issues I was seeing involved religion more than the actual politics. I think people are having a hard time finding true character flaws with these candidates and they’re now going after their religious backgrounds and soundbites of speeches (not the full speech, just a part of it to make their point whether it be valid or not). Now I know why these articles were chosen for newspapers and magazines because obviously it gets people talking, either in a bad or a good way but I’m posting these two videos of George Carlin to get people to just stop, take a moment take a breath and maybe even laugh at the situation instead of always taking things soooooo seriously. George is brash but hilarious and he can make a good point.
